three weeks into school has already made me appreciate free time. right now the cliche "you don't appreciate something until it's gone" is unfortunately true. whenever i crave to do things that aren't school related is when i can't possibly do them. and whenever i do get the time i waste it away doing pointless things. do i hear a new year's resolution? riight

I'm someone who has these brilliant ideas for art projects but never finds the right time to start them.

I've been into art for most of my life. My dad is a very good artist and ever since I was little I wanted to be like him. I remember sitting at our dining room table trying to draw this silly little bear when I was around 8 years old. I was getting fed up because it just wasn't looking right. I complained to my dad and all he said was "Practice makes perfect." This phrase, although cliche, is absolutely true.

I never want to give up art no matter how old I get. I want it to still be a huge part of me when I'm in my little-old-lady days.

I try to look at the world through philosopher's eyes. I always want to question the core beliefs of society. I don't like it when someone says that his or her way of seeing things is right and other people's views are not. Sometimes, though, I can be guilty of this very thing.

Change is always a primary thought in my mind. You learn a little more and a belief that was so strong and sure, is slapped senseless until it looks like a completely different thing. I come to expect it and actually enjoy it most of the time.
